Nice ambience, good service, not too crowded. The ribs? Umm mamamia! Both of the ribs types, the saucy and rub dry, are so good.

Arrived on a rainy day to use my Groupon. We were immediately seated and got our choice on where to sit. The interior was western influenced. We ordered a couple things to try out and it did not take too long to arrive. I have to say every item was delicious! The meats were well seasoned. If we weren't already full, we would have ordered more. Guess that means we will be coming back. Definitely recommend.

Nothing can tear me apart from butcher bar. My love for this place is so close to my heart, lol. FELIX is such a joy here;He is on point with the service, and the food itself speaks high volume. Please come early and try the burnt ends "meat candy" I swear the BEST brisket EVER!!!! The wings were also smoked to perfection, I got them plain to sauce it up the way I like. They do have sauce options, but this the way I love. Try everything it's that good. Come early cause burnt ends do sell out... the place is clean and big, so if you have a party size, you are in good hands for some BBQ!!!

Previously having written off NYC BBQ, I'm impressed that Butcher Bar has me changing my tune. Highly recommended! The notorious meat candy (burnt ends) rocks; I was beyond thrilled with the Gimme the Beef Platter ($29.99). It consisted of a 1/4 lb of meat candy, 1/4 lb of brisket, a side of your choice, pickles, and cornbread. The burnt ends exceeded expectations, and the tender brisket impressed as well. Regarding sides, there are a boatload of options. I went with the Brussels sprouts with applewood bacon which were awesome. A bit rich but so worth it! The cornbread was all right but second banana to the other items. The atmosphere was laid-back, and the other diners appeared to be a mix of friends, couples, and families. A few different servers paid visits to our table, and they were all friendly and helpful. And there's a 5% off check in offer on the Yelp app. Can't wait to return to Butcher Bar!

I've only had take out here before. The brisket wasn't hot and a little better when warmed up. Some bits were better than others, overall, I think Pig Beach may have an edge over it. However, the burnt ends were delicious and especially when warmed up, my favorite things by far to eat here. The Mac and cheese is excellent - the cheese is more of a white cheddar perhaps, not your typical one. The Cole slaw was just okay and the cornbread was pretty bad, it tasted healthy in the bad way. The lunch special is a steal but they don't have Burnt ends as an option.

The only decent BBQ spot in NYC?? This was such a nice surprise, I've tried a lot of places looking for good BBQ and this one is definitely the best one so far Both for dining and take out, the food is amazing and portions are great for the price The Coleslaw is fresh and the Mac and cheese is to die for
